SO I now have the opposite problem that I posted about yesterday.... I went out (it is a Friday night!) for TWO hours and I just came back to a condensation-filled incubator... I think one of my dogs (playing with the other) must have jostled the plug out of the socket/extension cord on the ground because the incubator was off... The temp was 77 and the humidity was 35%. I have the worst luck ever. I just plugged it back in and have my fingers crossed. As of 10pm tonight I am in day 19!!
Last incubation I didn't have any eggs hatch because I think I opened the incubator to fuss with them too much after day 18! Or my humidity wasn't high enough all around.
Am I in trouble this time too?? What do you guys think?! I cannot believe this, I am so upset![]()
so I ahve a large batch of eggs(about a hundred) on day 23. there is at least one piping and I think I heard more chirping. should I put the whole batch on lock down early?
they are turkeys and were set on 4/10If they are pipping I would put them into lockdown. These are Turkeys? What Day and time did you set them?

Actually, I may be wrong on the humidity, it was hard to read because my incubator (brinsea) was so fogged up! I thought it was 35% but I just checked and the humidity is 95%, which seems like a pretty hefty leap for 3-5 minutes. The temp is already up to 88 degrees... So anyways, maybe the humidity didn't fall after all? A couple of my eggs were shrink-wrapped last hatch and that's why I'm so worried.
