**~~>>Second Annual Cinco de Mayo Turkey Hatchathon<<~~**all poultry welcome!

OMG!! I want a splash!!!! I can't wait to see pics. blackish grey? That should still be blue I guess, but ......well, my roo is dark blue and my girls are too, so I guess that makes sense. But I had no idea I could get a splash out of them. Learn something new everyday. LOL
Unfortunately I lost the other three

. The two blues were lighter than the darker blue, but just as pretty. A Blue Copper too. Beautiful. Don't get it. They shrink wrapped. Humidity was good. Weight loss was good. One was turned wrong. The air cells were really bad though. I think that must have done it. They had the worst three; really saddle shaped. Lost the last Langshan a couple days ago. Blasted p.o.. I think they just couldn't vascularize properly. The three will be totally spoiled though. They are in with the six black am babies and four BBS Orps that I hatched out four days ago. They are all cuddled up together. Gonna try rebooting my system see it it helps the pic download. Hope your hatch is going better!

Oh I'm so sorry. I try to give them the best possible support, but the PO sucks! I have saddle shapes in my Turkeys too. Nothing happening in the bators, but I'm on my way now to pick up rebar and meet up with this little guy's new owner.

Well I have 3 live poults! 1 has reddish marks on its head and 2 have goldish brown marks. They are Bourbon reds from arielle. Could I have a trio?

The one that pipped the wrong end didn't make it. I removed some shell to allow it to move and zip the membrane and it did do some then stopped and I found it dead. After eggtopsy found a lot of blood inside membrane. Never seen that before. Maybe pipped a vein?

I still have one more turkey egg in there but it shows no signs of hatching.

Oh and arielle.. I candled 4-5 eggs tonight on sweetgrass and new hrs and everyone had development! :yesss:

Wow, every one has development??? I'll be sure to feed some extra goodies tomorrow to that pen!!

Just met up and delivered my lone chick (Silkie) to it's new family and score 12 pieces of pallet boards and some other lumber from the throw outs at HD. I can never get to that stuff fast enough these days.

Well, temp spiked to 106, then I pulled out the plugs, and it dropped to 96. :/ If I have ANY hatch it will be a miracle. No pips, but they aren't due until tomorrow, and I've had really wonky temps so I'm still holding out hope, and am prepared for a possible late hatch.

Still haven't put the eggs under my broody....My Dad came and tilled my garden today with his rototiller (no hand tilling this year! Yay!) and gave me an idea, but I was tired, and worn out today, so maybe tomorrow.

Lost one of my meaties last week...we need to process the other two, like, yesterday...but hopefully it will be soon.

Congrats on all the hatchlings!

Yay for the pics of the ducks and goslings! Sooo sweet!

Sorry for the losses. :(

Those hikes look AMAZING. Would love to do that someday.

Jaw pain, congestion, and neck pain are sending me to bed, even though I'm not really tired because I took a nap today.

Im happy i did not expect that many Marans but looks like i have a few roos if the combs are a tell tell sign.
