This is perfect! Woman with grey eyes Considers options. Controls destiny! ....errr..... Umm. I will only PM those six I consider my best work. deal? Can we consider my once-a-day Poetic Endeavors as part of the general levity? What was that rule, something from somebody every day? Please please please? What if somebody doesn't post an entry on particular day? A day without poetry would be SO awful (now that it's been established it's ....necessary.... mandatory). And I lied about practicing offline. These are extemporaneous works! Can you tell?

This sounds fun and interesting. Don't know 'nutting about raising turkeys. Hopefully, the fever won't hit me. Just going to observe the ride and see what it's all about. Doubt we could ever do this due to land limitations and coop housing. It's all we can do to keep the chickens safe from coons and hawks.

I love writing silly poems... Let's see...

My first flock

I dreamed and I longed to have chickens,
but never was the right time.
Hubby claimed they would smell like the dickens,
but fresh eggs would be sublime.

Then through Google I found BYC,
and I thought and searched and read.
There was so much to learn and see,
turns out there was no reason to fret.

Now we have our own little flock,
and they are quite a breeze to keep.
Let's just hope my black Jersey cock,
will allow the neighbors to sleep.
