Well, dangit, I had a bunch of responses and they were eaten by vermiscious knids, so you guys just get me popping in and saying I'm ready for turkeys, I can't believe we're about to get rain for 2 days and then SNOW (never happened in recorded history for May in NE Kansas) and I'm rolling in tutors. ChooksChick hatched 190! Weather in Kansas will be going from 90s to snow by Friday….

SilkeiSensation has 4 chicks out and a lot going to hatch over the week.

Loghousemom wants to hatch more but needs space to house them. Working on solutions….See if others in the area wants them….

ThaiDye’s screen name came from a Cockatiel that was the first for them. It passed at age 11 and the screen Name is to honor the Cockatiel’s memory.

It'll be a little later than I wanted since I'm not home until dinnertime. Sorry, family... dinner will be late! I have 15 little eggies to tend to first!

Broody Partridge Rock Supergirl has four little darlings, including Ms Counter Surfer!

I candled the last two, one was a ticking stink bomb (eww) and one is either DIS or very, very quiet. (Hunting dream wabbits, maybe?) so have given it back with

I'm going to go ahead and candle a day early... day 17 for me as they are due Monday night.

We got a different kind of egg bomb a while ago. Someone walked up our driveway and left a bag of eggplants on the back of my mom's car. Really good looking ones too. We can't even thank them.

I only like it a certain way and that's fried. I won't eat it if it's cooked any other way. It's also not an uncommon food with my family, so I grew up eating it.

I have 1 call duck pipped & 4/8 rouens pipped. Most of the rouens have REALLY wonky air cells & 2 are even on the wrong end of the egg so monitoring closely to make sure no one gets stuck.
