Raz, I've heard this rumor about eggplant parmigiana

I confess, I had to look it up. It actually looks and sounds really good.

Dad plans to cook them tomorrow night. All we do to ours' is slice it, coat it in a buttermilk mix. then cover them with flour, and deep fry it. That's how we've always done it.
I have 1 call duck pipped & 4/8 rouens pipped. Most of the rouens have REALLY wonky air cells & 2 are even on the wrong end of the egg so monitoring closely to make sure no one gets stuck.
Good luck! I can't wait until next week when my eggs start hatching.

Candled the six eggs under the broody. One or perhaps two have a chance at hatching... I kept all six under her... just in case.... I hope to get some sleep, I've been sick all day.

Quote: Probably a good thing. It will keep you from being tempted to help them when you think they are taking too long.

Quote: Thanks. I want pix when babies start popping...LOL I just hatched 4 of the mixed banties (cochin mix) & all had feathered legs & every one was a different color/pattern. Funny how 1 hen/roo pair can throw such a wide variety in their babies.

You can bet I'll have lots of pics to share!

Oh my goodness, a SECOND tutor has hatched! I don't mind them being a few days older than poults, because I think that works well, but I didn't plan it that way at all.

Both surprised me; never saw a pip or anything, just found the hatchling(s) looking out of the 'bator at me.

Because the turner is still working, each chick just fell out when I lifted the lid, because the Brinsea was at its lowest swing in the cycle. Little fuzz butts been going for a nice gentle ride, back and forth....

As soon as I catch it at the most upright spot, I'll unplug the turner. Lockdown is SUPPOSED to be tomorrow!
