Second first egg!

so my EE started laying on the 14th, which I shared with you all, and then on the 19 my barred rock surprised us with HER first egg. Yaaay!!! Loving 2019 already.

It's so exciting to get the first eggs. And then it never gets old to have a lovely bowl of multicolored eggs on the counter or in the fridge.

Precious moment! I can’t wait till the day when I can go out to the coop see that first egg and have it for breakfast. My chickens aren’t even born yet but they’re coming!

I have 5 hens the Ee whom laid 1st is 24 weeks and I have a SLW same age and not laying/squatting. My barred rock whom was the second to lay is 31 weeks! And I have a welsummer 31 wks not laying but squatting. And my baby a BO 22 weeks old niether laying nor squatting.
