Second guessing that my big boy is the breed I purchased

I bought him as a white leghorn, but he just doesn't seem like that's what he is to me now. He is huge, and his comb is straight up, white ears, slate grey legs, pure white feathes

He looks like a Leghorn aside from skin color. Their combs should stand straight, they should have white earlobes. I have seen plenty of white skinned LHs, though they typically come from project pens.

He's massive also. He's roughly 20" and 2 and a half ft wing span. He's 10 months old and weighs just over 6lbs. Maybe I was misinformed or I misunderstood their breed traits and he is just on the larger side of these growth ranges. He's a great Roo, still a little flighty and not a cuddle up guy by any means.

If he's from a backyard breeder then he is probably a mixed breed. If he's from a hatchery/feed store he is probably one of their hybrids.

Maybe an orpington? Merely a guess, but he looks like mine would with a non-frostbit comb and the leg color matches I think

He has white earlobes and completely wrong conformation.

He's either a LH or a LH mix.

There is a breed that fits, American bresse, but I think they are extremely rare. So I don't think it is that, but wouldn't hurt to ask if you bought him from a breeder.

I had a Leghorn cockerel who was GINORMOUS. Looked just like that guy, except for the leg color.

I have a much better pic of him somewhere, but I got a new phone recently, and haven't organized my old pics. He was a good boy, but I had to re-home him.

Haha! I never noticed them before!

I miss him. He had a better temperament than my current rooster, but I couldn't rehome my current guy because he's too mean.

He's now living on a big farm with his own girls. The gal I gave him to updates me sometimes.
