Second opinion/Breed & Gender clarification.

Ah I'm sorry my guess was wrong they are so beautiful, I hope you can find a home for them if you can't keep them.

We are going to try and keep our boy in the hopes he's not noisy. We are going to keep him overnight in the garage so he doesn't see daylight too early and then hope he's a quiet soul doing the day.

It really bugs me people are so offended by crowing! I'm not talking about a dozen roos in a 30ft garden but one Roo can't be the end of the world can it.....the noise some people make, dogs barking (I have barky dogs), motorbikes revving at all hours, loud music, parties etc...grrr

We live in a pretty dense town and I can see it being a nuisance if everyone had a roo, so I don't blame people for not wanting them in your neighborhood. I had my two girls by my window and JEEZ they're annoying. AND I OWN THEM! One of my girls actually just crows (this was before I got the little potatoes). She randomly starts screaming in the middle of the day.
On the more cynical side, city people are selfish and want their lives undisturbed by the sounds of nature (otherwise they'd live in the country side!). We've all grown used to the sound of cars honking and doors/windows slamming, it's just white noise to us now.
I'm holding out until I hear them crow before giving them away, one of my friends as already offered to eat them...😱

They're way to beautiful to eat!

You're right about noise I guess, we don't have much countryside left though so I'm hoping people will become more tolerant or they will be going hungry....

Now I'm too sad to look at my chickens knowing I have to part with them :( This is so devastating. I laughed at the fact that my brother said I was researching and checking if my two little potatoes were Roos like it was a disease. He's not wrong 🤣
