Crowing
Candled chicken eggs on day 14 and found one of the eggs went from a top air sack
to a side sack (didn't get a picture of the side sack, but it is the right size for the date)
I have marked the air sack and have the egg vertical in case the drawdown gets the sack to enlarge towards the top. On day 18 I plan to set the egg (sack up) on its side. My plan is to isolate the egg so any early hatchers don't roll it over. Is there anything else I can do to aid the little alien inside?
Second question, do you divide your hatcher? If so with what? I have pine trays with 1/2" hardware cloth bottoms that is covered by a shelf liner. I thought it might be interesting to divide the eggs by parent if known and egg color if not.
Thanks for your help
