It happens. Try not to feel bad. More often than not people make it worse by interfering, so having a light hand when it comes to that is best.One of local dude’s chicks died trying to hatch. The membrane turned yellow/dried out and it got stuck. I should’ve helped it
I feel you. My last few hatches have been awful, all with mailed eggs, so I'm sticking to local for the time being.
8 of the eggs were shipped, but the rest were from my chickens and a local guy. I know the big loss in the last batch was from the 2006 crapubator spiking to 106f and dropping down to 95f.I feel you.
