Here, have a look lol

Wohoo! The Little quails are growing faster everyday. They all have their chest feathers now so it may be time to start sexing them. They are all italians apart from a pharaoh, but the italians have various completely white patches so I am not sure if the feather sexing is gonna be too accurate on them, any advice?

Feather sexed them, 10 males and 5 females, what a disaster! I was hoping to get a bit more females, but it is ok ill keep max 3 males and see if the guy at my local market agrees to exchanging my males for females

This will be my final update to to this topic, thanks to everyone who helped me through the journey! The final balance was 10 males and 5 females. I ended up keeping 4 males and I bought some females, 4 females for every male, so 4/16 ratio. The other 6 males were donated to a neighbor who will raise them up for another two weeks and harvest their meat. The females are starting to lay their first eggs while the males are starting to crow and engage in reproduction activities. All in all, a pretty happy ending :)
