Second try at hatching quails! (This time I'm sharing the whole experience with you!)

Well it is pretty swollen. I don't know that there's much you can do for it though.
I think I would just watch it for the next couple of days and make sure it doesn't get any bigger. Remind me again how many males and females do you have together with this one?

4 males and 14 females (him included). the space they have is around 5 ft^2/bird, and it's full of hiding places for them to hide into. I will monitor it and will let you know how it goes, thanks for the help!

the swelling is going down, but i think he is fighting with another male, and that's what is causing this. i see some cuts around the eyes, and i see them on only another male, they fight one another, but show no signs of aggression towards anyone else, what should i do? should i isolate the bully or the injured one? the injured one has an eye closed, probably because of the pecks :(

i think the other quails don't care about the injured one, so i'll let him heal together with the others, i'll take out the bully for now and i'll see what to do with him later

so, i took out the bully, but now i see another male fighting with him, what has he done to upset them all? lol, i'll monitor the situation for a few days now before deciding what to do with them.
One male...maybe two.
Eat the rest.

left the injured male and one of his brothers who he seems to get along with. He is opening his eyes again and seems to be healing. Also, the two aggressive males were actually kind of special to me lol, one was my first self-hatched quail and the other was my first assisted-hatching quail lol
