We've been following this for the last few days and have to say that, she's one determined hen!! Bless her heart she wants babies soooo bad!!

We'll be praying for her that all hatch and are happy healthy lil' fuzzy-butts!!

I am waiting with baited breath. I can't wait.
My broody hen has laid her first egg today since her chicks hatched 9 weeks ago. It was strange as she was chasing her babies around and pecking at them this morning. The first time she has displayed this very un-motherish behaviour. I checked in the box and there was an egg. I guess she's over the mothering thing for now. I have had to separate her, for fear that she will kill one of her babies.

i get an e-mail everytime some replies to this topic.... do you know how hard it is while i am at work ... and my cell phone will bing telling me i have a new e-mail.. i check and its from this thread and... now i am sitting on 7 e mails and i could not get to a computer at work to check... i was telling the girls at work about this little momma... LOL
