Chickens eat raw meat every day.
Mine eat frogs, snakes, baby birds, dragon flies, moths, etc. I have never seen them roast any of these creatures over a fire.

You let your chickens eat raw bugs like they're some kind of ANIMALS!?

I have a bug zapper in my chicken run...my flock gets THEIR moths "flash fried".

I'm picturing chooks around a campfire with bugs on sticks roasting them like marshmallows so we don't think of them as heathens for eating em raw!

this just made my night. Roasted bugs... I think my chickens would wonder what's wrong with me if I cooked them bugs. They prefer homemade Mac and cheese. My chickens love chasing wasps and eating them. It's like the top menu item for them alongxwith fireflies. When they start coming up out of the grass at dusk, everyone goes crazy eating them.
