Security for your duck photos.

Hi, Nu Chix,

My advice is: Do your due diligence before placing a bid (research the buyer online, and maybe even the pic (google image search, drag and drop the pic into the search bar) ) and ask around on this and other forums about the sellers reputation. Read the seller's ebay feedbacks. Other than that, I don't think there's much else you can do. 'Buyer Beware' is a motto to live by when purchasing from unknown sellers.

Best wishes,

Tahai

I understand the "buyer beware" part. What I'm wondering is if E-bay actually does anything if you "report" them. Some sellers have good feedback simply because people don't realize they aren't getting what is listed. Just looking for a way to warn others.

I'll admit - my bid was purely an impulse bid. I've got ducklings on order for Holderread but still enjoy hatching out here and there.

I will have to try the drag/drop on google. I didn't realize you could do that. - hmmm, I must not be doing it right as it isn't working.

I also googled the seller and nothing is coming up except the "normal" e-bay stuff.

Was just playing around with it and ebay, and realized they do a much better job of protecting their sellers' pics than other sites. I'm not able to save, copy, or drag and drop any photos from e-bay auctions.

This is good if you are a seller, not so good if you want to verify a seller. Hmmph.
