What are your opinions of this YouTube user called Seductive who treats their pet Pekin duck like a human being?

oh I absolutely love. Though Id like to know the backstory, if its a lone duck etc. I've only seen a few videos.

People take issue with animals being treated like humans, personally I dont care as long as they are cared for properly for their species. Correct diet, housing, enrichment, companionship if needed, etc. Even if people go as far as putting their pet in costumes, as long as it isnt 24/7 and the animal is comfortable/safe, I don't see a problem.

You could say I treat my girls like people, I talk to them, I call them my babies, I spoil them with toys and treats and attention. I raised them so I have that strong bond with them.

Wrinkle is taken out, spoiled, all that, but seems confident and okay with it, so as far as I'm concerned, thats a happy duck!

Is this duck he one videoed finishing the Boston Marathon? Same red bootees!!

The duck clearly bonded closely with the owner, maybe imprinted on him. The owner clearly knows how to feed and water the duck and the duck is obviously happy and healthy.

My reason for commenting now is that the owner refers to Wrinkle as "she". But isn't Wrinkle a drake? Surely wrinkle has a drake feather and sounds like a drake. Too quiet for female what do others think?

Yes, in some of his videos he says to onlookers that Wrinkle is a male but "identifies" as a female.

Wrinkle is so calm around all that traffic and people it's amazing. And he is def a drake.

Omg I've watched every wrinkle video I could find. The owner got 6 eggs, and marked em all 1 through 6. #5 was the only one that hatched, and the guy made sure the duck imprinted on him. They were gonna call the duckling #5, and they thought it was a female. Then they started calling him wrinkle eater bc he kept biting their clothes. Then it just became wrinkle. They then found out she was a he. I had the exact opposite happen. We thought it was a boy, ended up being a girl. . He takes wrinkle everywhere and from what I can tell, wrinkle is one of the happiest ducks I've ever seen. He lets people pet him and he run the marathon, the guy calls him and wrinkle comes right to him to be picked up, he is the sweetest duck. The guy and wrinkle have such an amazing bond. They r the best of friends. And he talks about mental health some too. Nothing makes me feel better than my ducks. They are a terrific pair and deserve all the YouTube recognition they can get. I love wrinkle! Wrinkle lives inside and does everything with his dad. He even taught wrinkle how to juggle so he's even been in his dad's show. The 2 of them are truly soulmates. They imprinted on each other. Wrinkle is an emotional support duck.
