See those tail feathers??

    I know this is really early to ask BUT...
    Do you see those tail feathers? Look at the 3rd from left . Do you see them? The other chicks don't have tail feathers. Does that mean I might have a roo? It is so hard to get a picture of it because the feathers are black.

    Oh darling no! Fast feather growth on a chick means nothing at this age. [​IMG] As they mature, another thing people keep thinking but actually isn't so is a rooster being the chick with the higher tail angle. It's just a higher tail angle.

    OK, thank you. I am just hoping for a rooster so bad that I am reading into it before it happens. Patience is a virtue that I am lacking.
