SEED SWAP!! Come on ride the train, the seed train..............

Just want to let everyone know I recieved an empty envelope today.
The bottom was tore up and the seeds have been spread across the US in the mail system.LOL
The post master let me know once that if I was gonna send seeds that I might want to tape the packet to the top of the inside of the envelope.
The mail sorter grabs the bottom of the envelope and runs it through rollers.
So if the seeds are in the bottom of the envelope they will get smashed or jam up the machine.
Iam thinking that maybe what happened here in this case. The envelope is mutilated.

Another tip.. ask for SORT BY HAND.. that way the seeds don't go through the machine at all.. I have shipped seeds that way for years.. so far..so good

I would love to get the cockscomb and love in a mist.

I have to offer:
red swamp hibiscus
mixed hollyhocks
moonflower
cleome
single pink rose of sharon
giant grey striped sunflower

gaillardia

Well as long as the swap has stalled another question for all of you.

Has anyone ever planted garbanzo beans? I looked all over the stores and some mail order catalogs and they are hard to find. I read they are good for peafowl so I thought I would try some. I live in Zone 4 in NE Wisconsin.

I did find a place that sells them.http://www.bountifulgardens.org/ I know this isn't for chatting so if anyone wants to PM me that would be great. Plus as long as I'm asking, anyone have good tips for planting blueberrys and getting the soil ready? I bought aluminum sulphate and a ph tester, and the plants.

Received my rainbow carrot seeds today! The kids are excited!
