Seeing shadows in air cell for 24 hours, still no internal pip - struggling, or normal? Humidity?

Hello!

This is my first incubation. Goose egg. We're on Day 28 as of 6 hours ago. The egg is moving a lot! About 24 hours ago I saw small shadows in the air cell. I candled again just now and there are larger shadows that move a lot in the air cell. I could see a beak a few times but then it disappears. Or is that an internal pip? But there are no peeping noises, and no clicking noise, and beak disappears when egg stops moving.

Following Pete55's goose egg guide, which is why I haven't entered true lockdown yet (did stop turning of course!)

Now I'm worried that maybe the membrane is too tough for the gosling to internally pip? Should I increase humidity now? The air cell has dropped A LOT, but not quite as big as ideal, so I didn't want to increase humidity too soon. Pete55's guide recommends increasing humidity once they externally pip.

Thank you for any help!!!

If it's in the air cell it's internally pipped. Then it externally pips the shell to get oxygen. Will stay that way probably 24 hours before it zips.

Even if there's no click sound and no peeps? The pictures and videos I've seen online of internal pips look different, his beak is barely in there and not consistently either - it looks more like he's just pushing against the membrane... but I am a complete amateur so I also probably don't really know what I am looking at! Is it difficult for them to do the internal pip like it is the external or is it usually pretty quick? Is it a possibility that he could be struggling to internally pip and is not able to? Thanks so much for your reply, I appreciate it greatly!

Definitely keep waiting because that really all you can do. Best wishes. It could be pushing on the membrane before it breaks through. I would Lockdown and wait.

did you start lockdown when this happened? My eggs are "shadowing" as well, like pushing against membrane but not pipped, I'm wondering if I should increase humidity or not
