Seeking Droste chocolate apples

I searched for YEARS for a Dressels Whip Cream Cake. But alas. They are no longer around.

Not real apples, solid chocolate that are in little segments. They are wrapped in foil. Dh says they are not even on the Droste website so maybe they are gone for ever.

Woudstra does not have them. Nobody does, it seems. I, too, have been searching for Droste chocolate apples for 15 years now, to no avail. The last time I bought some, I bought 10, when I saw them in a mall candy store in Burlington, Mass. The guy at Woudstra says he thinks they are not made any longer. NOW TO CEASE MAKING THESE DELICACIES IS ABOUT THE STUPIDEST MOVE A COMPANY COULD MAKE. Oh well, next thing you know, Triscuits will gone.

I will check our local commisarry. During the holiday season they carry lots of foreign made candy items.

Wow, this thread is old! But still no Droste apples. I can find knock off brands, and flavored apples, but not the milk chocolate Droste.
