How has the paint lasted for you? Did you paint it after you put it up? And did you paint all of it, or just the outsides?

Mine has held up beautifully a year and a half after spray-painting it black with RustOleum meant for metal. No chips or fading. I love the painted wire - it disappears into the background. I love the effect so much that I got black vinyl coated chicken wire for my garden. It looks really nice and is not an eye sore the way plain wire is.
