I want to surprise my MIL with some silkies for her birthday. She is Chinese and back in China and Taiwan she had normal (non-bantum) sized silkies that she had to leave behind when she came to this country. She has seen bantum silkies here but just said, "They look so small, like toys instead of chickens!" I know most people in this country only have access to bantums, but has anyone bred for a larger size on their own? Can anyone help me out in finding someone willing to sell?
