Hi I have one chicken out of seven That I heard trying to Crow today I live in a neighborhood where I don't want a rooster you can have them I got him around AprilWe got three chickie girls as newborns last May. They're great little layers, but we have them primarily as pets. They're total love-bugs and super spoiled!
Husband and I have decided we'd like to get them a rooster for companionship and protection purposes. I know people are often looking for good homes for unwanted roosters, so we want to offer up a "forever home" to one reasonably social rooster. Age and breed are unimportant to us. The only thing we care about is that he's friendly towards people (not a run-in-fear type like all our neighbors' chickens) so that we can bond with him over a bag of "flock party" and some yummy veggies.
Torchic, Marcie Joy and Little Debbie can't wait to meet their new beaufriend!
