Seeking rooster (as pet) in Montgomery County/Houston, Tx area

we are just north of Austin and we rescue roosters all the time. these guys are 10 months old we've had them since chick and have been handled a lot but we haven't found them any hens to keep them company yet. they're mixed breed not sure what kinds but they are very gentle with humans just not friendly with each other.

Would you be willing to meet halfway? We still need a little guy to keep our three feisty girls in line!

Hi! Are you still looking for a rooster? We have a 10 month old Easter Egger rooster, who was the accidental rooster out of our dozen hens. We have been hanging on to him because we are quite attached to him, but we already know we won’t be able to take him with us once we move this summer, because that city does not allow roosters. We would love to find him a good home, preferably where he doesn’t have to wear a crow collar (since we are in a neighborhood, he has to wear one right now). We are in San Antonio, but would be willing to drive him or meet in the middle somewhere for a good home. He is very sweet with my sister and I, as he had been handled since he was a chick. We are not positive on “protectiveness” since our chickens stay in an extremely predator-proof run when not supervised, but, he has attacked and chased both of our (chicken-friendly) dogs, who are each 50+ pounds.

We got three chickie girls as newborns last May. They're great little layers, but we have them primarily as pets. They're total love-bugs and super spoiled!

Husband and I have decided we'd like to get them a rooster for companionship and protection purposes. I know people are often looking for good homes for unwanted roosters, so we want to offer up a "forever home" to one reasonably social rooster. Age and breed are unimportant to us. The only thing we care about is that he's friendly towards people (not a run-in-fear type like all our neighbors' chickens) so that we can bond with him over a bag of "flock party" and some yummy veggies 🐓.

Torchic, Marcie Joy and Little Debbie can't wait to meet their new beaufriend :D!
where are you located? We have roosters to give away. Our roosters are very handsome, healthy and gentle :)

Thanks for the offer, but Elise_Hope beat you to it by a couple hours, lol... Looks like we're getting our new family member on Friday!

Thanks for getting back to me, but unfortunately, we're no longer looking. We adopted a 10 month old rooster who is currently a very rude little butt to me, my husband and his mom (working on improving the rooster/unfamiliar human relationship, though ;)) but takes good care of our hens and ducks and doesn't harass the cats.

This is Mozzie:
