Will they take it back? I got mine from a hatchery. They were pretty clear about sexing not being 100% accurate and that there is always a risk when buying day old chicks. I hope it turns out to be a she. Keep in mind that I got my first ever chicks in february and my only boys were bantams. I wish I could remember exactly when my rir girls started growing combs. I was thinking around 12 wks.

I also have BOs. I do think my rirs matured slightly earlier than the BOs. I just don't remember how much.

Does it curl at all.... I'm having a hard time telling if it's a pullet or not at such a young age.... But if it is a roo. You will find out soon.. Tail bends... Comb grows and is red. And the feathers on his neck will be thin and pointy.

The chick in the back was my roo when he was about the same age as yours... The gal in front is his sister... Bigger comb and tail feathers bent and fuzzy neck feathers that were straight and pointy. Hope this helps
