This is my first time hatching duck eggs. I've hatched chicken & quail, though.
I set 8 mixed duck eggs on 1/22. I candled today & saw good veining in 4 of the eggs. Two of the eggs were seeping clear fluid. They were 2 of the ones that are developing.
My question is: Is this normal? Should I be concerned? Should I be doing something differently?
They were shipped eggs & have damaged air cells. None have cracks. I'm using a cabinet incubator. Temps & humidity are stable. Non of the chicken eggs are seeping. (Duck eggs are in top turner - nearest the water pan, chicken eggs are in lower turner shelves.)
