but the images are huge and take so long to load.

I have the same problem here....every.time I try to view.

I think the website translates the pics to a certain format.
Maybe @casportpony can help here with the slow loading images??

No clue if I did something wrong with the pics. I either uploaded them directly from my phone’s camera roll if I was posting from my phone or from my Google Pics storage if I was posting from my computer.

I see. You didn't do anything wrong. It just would be helpful if the photos were compressed/resized before uploading.

We put some finishing touches on the shoop today. This plastic strip is a replacement strip for a door way. Fits perfect to block leaks from the top of the nest box door.

We also installed a 650 CFM fan next to the door to help circulate air. On really hot days, I can also fix the door wide open like it is in the pic below.

The fan's power is controlled by a wifi smart plug. The smart plug toggles on and off automatically based on temp and humidity readings reported by a sensor hanging in the coop.

And some gratuitous pics of the girls. They were unimpressed with all the construction racket picking back up again.

You sure she's molting? My EEs lose their beards to feather picking. When one of my other EEs died there were no more missing beards.

That could be possible I suppose, but the black chicken is an OE and also has a beard/muffs with no feather loss. Big Momma is also top of the pecking order so I cant see another chicken picking at her.
