Seizing duck?

Are you putting them into nice warm water so they don't chill. Even drinking cold water can cause them to go into shock and die.

We have been putting them in warm water when they swim but havent been paying much attention to what we give themt o drink (its normally around room temp, not hot but not cold). Thank you for the information, we didn't know this!

Unfortunately the little duck passed away today, but it was highly expected as a week or two ago my mother had to revive him almost, the others are doing fine, though!

That is sad for the duckling and you. I hope that the other ducklings do well -- they are totally reliant on us for care and safety, but they give so much pleasure as a reward.
