Self Blue (Lavender) Silkie Thread

Fried Eggs.....GO FOR IT!!!!! What a beautiful color combination that will be! I read through the genetic calculator. Now I have a headache. I think I need a little more "basic" background to understand some of the concepts presented. You have to know what a "whingdoodle" is before you can understand what a "whingdoodle-thing-a-ma-digit" does.

Well thank ya, I will. I will persist. And I will make a flock of silkies in proper type w/ 24 karat bling bling palomino coloring. Then they can haul me off to the funny farm...

They aren't there yet. But also on my site on the project page is a pictures of Henks69 white patterned vorwerks. Try that in silkie clothing. 24 karat bling bling with white white head, hackle, wing primaries, tail.

I'm very excited for your Palomino Silkies, G! I should make a Tahitian Pearl colored silkie as an ode to my work. LOL.

Most likely emerald green which would be tough to accomplish. lol. Tahitians also come in aubergine/purple, gray, pistachio, neon yellow-green, "fly-wing green", blue, black, ect.

Bigg words that I really don't understand.

I have porc and lavender, but got these three birds from a friend that ordered them off of eggbid when it was still running. She couldn't remember the name of the seller.
But they look different then my others so I want to ask those that are more experienced! The body is lavender but the wing color on the roos is more red then buff. The pullet is porcelain but has a blue crest. (lightening wasn't that great but she is porc) Just wondering if anyone has any that are similar in color or are these different then standard porcelain.
Thanks!
Chris

It's driving me nuts! I don't know why they will not hatch. A broody just hatched out the last two, so I think I will give my broodies a chance now. They are doing better than I am. She hatched 2 out of 2 eggs that I gave her, and this was her first time. So, I am really proud of her.
