OK... I am going to complicate everything! So I know it is not the best idea to mix blue and lavender but if you have what will you get if you breed a Blue Split to a Black Split?

Will you get:
Blues and Blacks, Splits of both and Lavenders? But what would like the perentages be?

I'm so sorry guys!

I had ordered some eggs from her and when she emailed me back she mentioned that she had 4mth old lavs. that she needed to sell asap to make room! I didn't ask if they were split or not...I was just passing the info that I had along. I apologize! I didn't mean to misrepresent anything. Blessings, Keri:)

Hi
I'm a little Lavender crazy right now too. LOL! I've had the Lavender gene running all through my Blue, Black and Splash coops since the beginning, but never really tried to bring it out until now. I have unfortunately sold all the chicks I've hatched over the years and had people send me a picture of a lavender to ask what color it is!
I have quite a few Blues and Splash that I will be advertising soon as I can. All cute as can be (that means show potential

) that are 4 months old right now... a few older ones too. Any could possibly be split for Lavender, but I could only guess. Nothing for sure. I sold the only boy I had from my lines that was pure Lavender to a friend a while back before they were selling for so much.
SO... I got some gorgeous Lavenders from Deb this year and the first two Black splits just hatched!!! Those I know are split because the Dad is Lavender.
Check out the new boy, Tex, on my site http://www.indigoegg.us/2010SPRING.html
I just love him!! My younger boy is starting to bloom too. Wow on the butt!! and he has a better top knot!! I have a boy that is split on my together page named Merlin's Beard. He is SO sweet and cute.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!! I better get to my chores. Blessings!

Bobbi, I haven't forgotten. I'm still waiting myself. I'll let you know as soon as something positive happens with my lavs.

I know what you mean Bobbi...I don't even know how many lavenders I could have out there that I sold as chicks last year. Just traded a nice male last month. I got a good blue girl though in return though...it runs thru my splashes and blues also.....
