I'm so excited! If you have a lavender or porcelain cockerel forsale this fall, I'd be interested in one. Plus I'd like to pick your brain on what to breed for in the porcelains since I'm a hands-on learner
Hannah so I guess this means your keeping the porcelins! Hahaha

Wow our "senior trip" was the cop-out day to the lake. LOL I'll keep you posted on what developes here on the cock front. I finally have an awesome porcelain cock with great color. He is developing nicely so hopefully he will be at the shows later on.
Thanks April
I'm so excited for the fall shows and to talk to everyone again! I've missed everyone!

I love the porcelains, they are my Fav right now. I have to admit I like them more than the Lavs.

Only if I can find a cockerel
Otherwise it doesn't pay for me to keep them if I can't get any future chicks!
OMG I started to get the barn in order for the fall yesterday. I figured the weather was going to change, and since there was a warm breeze, I took some birds out of a stall ( 3 pens full ) and washed them up. It took all afternoon! 34 Fluffballs in all! My aching back! But it did give me a chance to look over them, I actually found a few that I could move on, mostly pullets, splits and more. So I'll be getting a list together. I also need to clean out some of the AOV colors, Cuckoo & Calico included. With 34 birds washed, there are only about 150 more to go!
