Besides it can't be a duck wing, he doesn't quack anyway!
 
I just have to add...the "hobby name" is self blue. Lavender is the genetic name. BUT....trying to get that changed.....SURE! LOL The color is from the lavender gene.

Can someone please sum up the topic of converstaion right now. I did not know they chose to use self blue rather than lavender. I would very much like to join the conversation.

read what I quoted Bren about above. They associations already have breeds using self blue,not lavender. So to keep things on an even plain, silkies are in the same boat.

My other chipmunk striped are were deff lavs, not splits. They have no brown on them and their stripes are lavender, not black.
