Ahappychick, I love your little grey two tone babies......here's a picture of mine: I sure wish we were closer, I'd do my best to talk you out of them to match up with my little beauty, "Comet"

Darling Farms, "Comet" is one of your split lavender babies. I hope she's a pullet.... at 3.5 months old, so far so good. I just LOVE HER!!!!

All my grays are from lavender splits--silver partridge. Right now I have only two adults; one "chinchilla" gray hen and a beautiful roo that was one of Bren's "mutts."

I get a lot of these greys well maybe not a lot but at least 3 with every hatch. right now I have about 10 or so.

The parents to these are a full lav and my buff/lav splits pics are on my last auction for PI By the way I told the buyer of those eggs as soon as I knew I as getting more PI with my other lav roo but he diud n ot have as nice type, I have since switched out again. I was hoping the buff/lav splits would all make PI with the lav but I get these, the occasional white and pi and this really weird redish color (will take pics tomorrow of more)

so they are considered grey? not mutt colored? if so what should I do with them. almost all have really big crests and nice type. Can I sell them as Grey if I say they came out of a lav Pi project pen?

). I will update with ordering info once the books arrive!

"Coming SOON!! The Silkie Book!
Now you know what to ask Santa for this Christmas!! The new Silkie Book by Sigrid van Dort will be arriving in the US in the next 10 days! I've done a lot of the editing on it, since English is not Sig's first language, and helped her to "Americanize" it a little. I can tell you that it is beyond anything us silkie lovers have ever seen!

Tons of gorgeous color pictures, images of faults and DQs, explanations of color and how they were created - it has everything! It will be $95 plus shipping, and all funds (except for the actual shipping costs) go directly to the author. " - Deb Steinberg
