Self Sufficiency blogs

I blog too. Mine is more diverse and isn't about self sufficiency yet, but I have big plans for our first house so I will be blogging on gardening, chicken raising, duck raising, quail raising, and rabbit raising. I will also be doing DIY projects! If you want to check it out here it is http://thenewdaybringshope.blogspot.com/

Awesome, I'll check yours out.
I used to live next door to a Nayeli. Haven't seen that name since childhood. Brought back a lot of good memories!

You may wanna check back in two months. We have a month until closing on the house but once we move in the house I'll be plenty busy and have more blog posts that I think you will be most interested in!

I've got a homesteading blog going. Some of it may be "I already knew that/I've already done that" for you, but I try to share for people at all stages. I also do a blog hop on Fridays where people share all their favorite posts that they've written on my blog. You should check it out for some new and fresh ideas.

You can do it with very little acreage. Check out some of the youtube videos on sprouting barley for super food for animals. No garden space, just using water and plastic tubs. It's amazing how many ways you can become self sufficient and feed the animals too.

Thank you! I like yours too. I am lucky to have found one nearby. I have never had chicks shipped, and know it works, but I would rather drive and get a look at the facility where they are hatched. I have 3 hens that were from Mount Healthy Hatchery that I purchased from another homesteader and they have been happy, healthy girls. Others came from a farm or homesteaders. How about you?
