Sell or not to sell?

Hi everybody. I have two buff orpingtons Roos 12 weeks old. The game plan was to butcher them but I am afraid that it is too late, just no time to do it. There is a local flee market next month, I was wondering if there is a market to sell them or would I be wasting my time?

I'd say the market depends on your area. I know lots of people discard and or eat cockerals but there are some people who need a good roo. Testiment to that is myself. I need a Buff O. cockeral as I write this. Not sure of the added effort of a flee market but CL or offerup may be the way to go. Maybe a farmers market? Good luck finding a buyer!

If you live nearby, you could try at Mt. Hope; they have livestock auctions almost every Wednesday. There seems to be a market for full-sized roosters.

Amish Country!!! - I really like going there, unfortunately it has been 15 years or so. Going to make my decision this week, Saturday or Sunday will be the butcher day if I do it.
