Blow up the picture and see our watermark The Garry Farm!!!!!

She claims those as her eggs. I have reported to Ebay! and to her ....Anything else I can do!!!!
It must have come from Either this BYC or my web site....

But website has an anti download device.....

Suggestions please after I quit shaking my head in disgust at people who steal????

Thanks Nancy

I've sent her a message, as well:

"You will definitely want to take down that photo, as the owner of that farm isn't likely pleased that you've used it without permission.

If you need to resize your photos, you can do it for free on Picnik.com and save them to your computer for posting. It will even improve your pics.

Cheers, and God bless!

Renee"

I've had it happen too, but before I started watermarking all my photos. Keep after them to take it down. I also contacted the buyers who had bought based on my birds not his. They were none too pleased about it so I would imagine they also contacted him.

You would think he or she would have not stolen a watermarked picture...Will one of you do a favor and try to see if you can download any of my pics on the auctions???? I just think I need to take all pictures off of everything....But how do you sell without a picture....Sigh,,,I've reported to ebay as stated and they sent a form that they are working on it....I wish I had this person's phone number...I'll try to find it.. I'm starting now to scan photos....mmmm...Thanks....

There ARE ways people can do it, not much you can do about it except don't post pictures on websites, period. Only email pics.

I've seen people bypassing watermarks, thanks to the technology we are able to access. You can lift off any pictures off from anywhere no matter how "secure" your web server may be.

People taking other people's photo without permission, or not leaving the watermark or credits ON the photo, would not be good at all.

One good thing, they left the watermark on the photo and anyone that sees it and knows it, should mentioned somewhere in their sales that the picture was taken off from a website and provide that name.

I'm not sure about on ebay, but I know one can still copy pics from any site using alt+prnt scrn and then ctrl+paste in 'paint.' It's unfortunate, but BIG, shiny watermarks are the best, because at least that drives traffic to your site.

I hope she wakes up- she has like 6 auctions using that image!!

Yep, downloaded your watermarked egg pic with no problem.

Yes, I thought you could, but I just tried it to be sure, and I can save any of your pictures from the auction forum by right clicking on it and then just hitting save.....
