Selling duck eggs - Price?

Hello fellow duck lovers!

I am thinking of selling duck eggs to my neighbours, but I hesitate on the price I should sell them. Any thought?

I thought about something like $5 for 6 eggs or $8 for a dozen (I am in Canadian dollars), but no idea if that would be too high.

It all depends where you are. Around here, I can probably get around $10 a dozen.

Check online and see if anyone else is selling them and adjust your price accordingly.

In WI we sell them for $4 a dozen. There is not a demand for them here at all. I wish they would sell for $10 a dozen here. Perhaps I don't have the proper connections either.

I don't even eat them.

After I hatched them out last spring I couldn't even eat chicken eggs for a LONG time. I do now but...it is a weird thing.

I have baked with them and they are fine but frying them...Ill pass.

I also don't like to eat them, but I bake with them.
There isn't much demand here for them but I do sell a few dozen at $6.

With having kiddie pools I think their water is the issue. I clean it daily but it gets gross fast and they run around the yard with toads hanging out of their mouths so they are eating yuk along with their pellets.

In short, the eggs smell swampy.
