Selling EE eggs

I used to jump for joy whenever my friend who sold me her eggs added one of her special greens, blues, or teenies to the crate.

Now that I have my own, I didn't get any fancy-colored egg layers this time, but hopefully next time.

Fancy is what they are though - certainly not a liability.

And I lived in a highly urban area and had never seen a green egg before then either. That made it all the more cool.

When I make up a flier, or post an ad on CL, I use the colors to my advantage. I talk about the beautiful variety of colors and will post a nice pic of a bowl of my eggs (at the beginning of the laying season, when they are at their most colorful). I get some that have to ask why they aren't white, but once they learn, they think it's pretty cool. People love my colored eggs.
