Selling eggs...Has anyone ever done this?

I have a little fridge that I am thinking about putting out by the road with eggs in it and a sign. I would use the honor system with a jar or something out there for money. That way people get just stop and get eggs and wouldn't have to come to the door and I wouldn't have to be home.

Has anyone ever soldl eggs this way?

I'd actually lock a money drop box onto the table, unless you're there the whole day (to use the jar). Good luck!

It is done all the time in my tiny town . Most folks are truly honest . But If It were me I would take the suggestion about making the cash box secure . It only takes one dishonest person to empty out the jar . I Had friends that actually just used a pic nick cooler .. Wouldn't hurt to try would it : ) time would quickly tell you if your eggs sold and cash balanced ~ Good Luck
