How many chickens do you have if you sell your eggs? We have 10 girls who are about 6 months old and get between 4 and 8 eggs a day...too many for the 4 of us to eat them all, but do we have enough to sell them? Do you clean your eggs before selling them? Do you sell them in egg cartons, or have them in baskets or have people bring their own baskets/cartons? Do you have signs up so people know where you are?

I am in the same boat as you. I get about 6 eggs a day and that is too many for my family to consume. I bought egg cartons to start off and did put up signs but no takers. I sold about 4 dozen at the flea market for 2.00 per carton but had to say organic....which they are. it seems that free range eggs bring a better price - dont know why
