Selling meat birds

My husband and I raise free range meat birds for our own food and I am interested in raising more for profit. My interest is to raise them to full size and then sell them to a company that would butcher them. Does anyone know if there is a need for this or what the profit is or what company would buy the birds from me? We are in nc

I don't know anything about selling birds to the public. So I would follow the advice that Drumstick Diva has given and do some posting in the meat birds section for some advice....
