Selling Quail eggs in Illinois?

Does anybody know anything about the legalities surrounding the selling of quail eggs in Illinois? Would the rules pertaining to chicken eggs apply or are quail exempt from these regulations?

I could be wrong but I think the original poster was talking about selling quail eggs as a consumable product, not for hatching. You should check with your state ag department. We have a local extension office we can call that is very helpful.

Yes i was talking about eggs for eating, not for hatching, and I got my answer in my state thread. Thanks for the responses though!
