Selling whole chicken chilled or frozen?

@HammerNFaithFarm
Probably best to freeze them.
First you need to find what the regulations are in your area for slaughtering and storing chicken for sale to the public.

At my farmer's market, they sell them frozen. Don't forget to let them rest before you freeze them, and def check local laws and regulations for raw chicken sales to the public.

Yes, we know our state regulations but having them chilled or frozen isn't stated.
Then I guess it might depend on how soon after slaughter you can sell them whether you sell them chilled or freeze them....and which you customers might prefer.

I’m trying to sell one live lol. Got a nice looking Rhode Island Red, but he won’t stay away from my Plymouth roo’s hens.
