Semi-new member intro

Had an account previously when we got our first batch of 8 little brown hens. Now that they've taken over the entire yard 6 years later I'm learning the ins and outs of selling the eggs. Current count is 37 plus two heritage turkeys. We have a mixed flock - Australorps and Mystic Marans plus some Lavender Rocks rounding out the goth section, 3 Brahmas, 2 Bantams, a bunch of Buff Orpingtons (aka the Disney Princesses), my favorites the Ameraucanas, some Rhode Island Reds and one Jersey Giant and one Barred Rock who are well into their chicken retirement as part of the second batch we ever got (the last girl from our first ISA Browns died earlier this spring at the ripe old age of 6.) Also three silkies that decided they live with the turkeys for some reason, and one Bantam roo with deluxe solo accommodations who's basically a spoiled, blueberry eating housepet. Currently putting the finishing touches on a TARDIS coop we found plans for online and just rearranged the yard so we can do two coops with two covered runs that both open onto a semi-enclosed yard - they have about an acre with decent tree cover to help shield them from the very large amount of aerial predators.
