I currently have three Speckled Sussexes, two Australorps, and two Frizzles in the brooder. The Speckled Sussexes have not only become twice the size of the other four, I frequently watch them using their size to push the other babies away from the food, away from the water, and trying to get on top of them to sleep at night. They are also fully feathered and the other four are not. In short, I'm concerned their bulk is going to start creating a safety hazard for the smaller pullets.
I'm contemplating kicking the SSs outside to the coop to start integrating with the big girls, and letting the other four have a week or two of peace before they also go out. Will doing this in stages cause too much chaos? Should I do it all at once even though some aren't fully feathered? Wait a while longer? My last bunch of pullets did not have this much of a size difference or personality difference.
