Separate hen?

I just introduced three 20 week old hens with my other 3 that are 2 years old. Everything is fine other than one of my two year olds (blue andulasian) is really aggressive towards them but one in particular (my barred rock). To the point that they'll all be out in the chicken run and my barred rock will be in the coop roosting all alone during the day. I've read that u can isolate the aggressive one from the rest then re-introduce it in a week or so. Would this be good in my circumstance. Thanks

Sorry it took so long to reply.

You could certainly try that. It is stressful on the hen to be removed from those she knows, so you may want to pen her in sight of the others. I'm not sure though, since my hens don't argue (my roosters, however, can disagree on things), so I've never had to try that.
Make sure that the bullied hen is getting plenty to eat and drink.

Best of luck! I hope it all works out!

I thought I was to keep it from sight of others so that it'd be looked at as the new hen when reintroduced...

You could to that, that would probably work. Hens taken away from their flock can get stressed and depressed, however, so make sure she has plenty of things to keep her busy while she is separated.
