Separated Chicks and Mama

My Momma hen hatched 3 eggs a week ago. I was advised to remove her and the babies from the hen house and to a box in a protected area. I would like my garage back.

Now what....

I'd say put her in the run with the rest of the flock and see how they react to the new chicks. The mom will protect her babies, so they should be o.k. Otherwise could you maybe separate an are in or near their run where they can see the chicks and get used to them without being able to get to them?

If I keep them together, will the chicks go into the hen house at might with the mama and the other chickens?

Yes, mom will call them.
