Hey everyone,
So I wanted to ask for abit of advice, we're in a pickle because one of my two call ducks do not know when to stop quacking, I live in a suburban area and have had them since babies and they have grown up around chickens. We've been able to handle the quacking but one of the two has been going overboard, quacking loudly all day and all night. I can handle some of the quacking but she's been waking people up at least 3 times a night and it's becoming a concern with the council which we do not want to risk getting introuble over. The other one has no issues but is bonded, I need to find a new home for miss loud mouth but i still want to keep our other one seeming that there are no issues. My concern is that if I separate them how will my other call duck react, is it better to find a new home for both of them or just the one? Has anyone broken a bonded pair. If so did you have any separation issues? I want to do this right by their behavioural needs and would like to know others experiences in any issues similar. (we have tried everything we could think of to get her to stop quacking during the night)
