If you are trying to raise two different breeds of birds (i.e., dominiques and buttercups) do you have to keep the flocks separated at all times to prevent crossbreeding?
 
You need to totally separate the breeds at least three weeks and preferably four weeks before starting incubating the eggs if you wish to keep the breeds pure.
