Separating drake

i have 1 drake and 4 females. I just got the male and 3 females. Would he be okay if I separated him by himself for a few days? It’s a chicken wire pen inside the area they free range. He would be close by by not able to hurt babies or new female until everyone is settled. Plus I just got rid of his brother and two of my ducks have foamy eyes from all the extra lovin’ and need a break. Thoughts?

He'll be fine separated for a few days. Just make sure he eats and drinks, and it should all go well.
